Guide

From sign-up to a live site, step by step.

Most owners get their menu, hours, and a published site done in a single afternoon. Here's the whole path — you can follow the same checklist inside Studio as you go.

  1. 1

    Create your account

Hit “Start free trial”, enter your restaurant name, pick your site address (mise-engine.com/your-name), and your email. We send a one-time confirmation link — no password to remember.

  2. 2

    Confirm your email

Open the email from Mise and click the link. That verifies your address and signs you straight into Studio — your private control panel. The link is single-use and expires in about an hour, so click it soon.

  3. 3

    Start your 7-day free trial

Studio opens on the Billing panel. Add a card to start your 7-day free trial — nothing is charged until day 8, and you can cancel any time before then from the billing portal. Adding a card is what unlocks publishing your public site.

  4. 4

    Add your business details

Open the Business panel and fill in your address, phone, and contact info. This is what shows up on your site’s “Find us” section and powers the map + contact links.

  5. 5

    Build your menu

In the Menu panel, add categories (Starters, Mains, Drinks…) and dishes with prices, descriptions, and photos. You can mark items vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or spicy, and hide anything that’s 86’d without deleting it.

  6. 6

    Set your hours

The Hours panel drives the live “Open now / Closed” status on your site. Set your weekly schedule, add a second service window for split shifts, and drop in holiday overrides so guests always see the right thing.

  7. 7

    Publish & share your link

When you’re happy, hit “Publish now” on the dashboard. Your site goes live at mise-engine.com/your-name within a minute or two. Share that link anywhere — Google, Instagram, your front door QR code. Moving to your own domain later is a one-click upgrade.
